BoxTemp is a 100% free, public-utility set of online tools — temporary email, a 2FA/TOTP code generator, a browser fingerprint & privacy checker, Gmail/Outlook inbox readers and a Facebook live/die checker. No signup, no payment, no catch.

The short version: Everything here is free and open to the public. We collect as little as technically possible, temporary inboxes delete themselves automatically, your 2FA secrets never leave your device, and we never sell or share your personal data.

1. Who we are

BoxTemp (“we”, “us”) operates boxtemp.com, a free collection of privacy and productivity tools. The service runs entirely on Cloudflare’s edge network. We do not run a traditional server that logs and warehouses your activity.

2. Temporary email (Temp Mail)

Disposable inboxes are created on demand and are public by design — anyone who knows the address can read mail sent to it, so never use them for anything sensitive.
Messages and their metadata are stored only long enough to display them, then deleted automatically by a scheduled cleanup. Deleting an inbox removes its data immediately.
We do not forward mail to any external mailbox and we do not read along — the operator interface is metadata-only for regular use.

3. 2FA / TOTP generator

Your authenticator secrets are processed entirely inside your browser. They are never transmitted to us or stored on our servers. Close the tab and they are gone.

4. Browser check & inbox readers

The browser check computes fingerprints locally and compares them with what the network edge already sees (your IP/ASN). Nothing is stored — the report exists only in your page.
Gmail/Outlook readers use credentials you paste once to read your own inbox. We do not store the token or the messages.

5. Data we don’t collect

We don’t require accounts, names, phone numbers, or payment details — because the service is free and there is nothing to pay for. We don’t sell data, and we don’t run invasive cross-site trackers.

6. Cookies & analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic. Admin sessions use a strictly necessary cookie. No advertising profiles are built from your usage.

7. Children

BoxTemp is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the free tools evolve; the “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
